2014 – it’s been a fantastic year!

It’s been a busy year here at Great Lengths HQ so for our last blog post of 2014 we are doing a round up of all the amazing things that have happened in the world of Great Lengths this year.

New VIP Lovelies

Great Lengths has taken the celebrity world by storm and throughout the year we’ve gained some new VIP Lovelies! Sam Bailey, winner of the tenth series of The X Factor plumped for pre-bonded hair extensions to add length and texture to her locks – we love her red carpet songbird transformation! The Only Way Is Essex girls are known for their glam style and even more glamorous hairstyles so we were delighted when newcomers Ferne McCann, Leah Wright and Grace Andrews chose to enhance their tresses with the addition of Great Lengths pre-bonded hair extensions.

Launching of GL Apps

We have been busy little bees this year developing and launching our tape-in hair – GL Apps. Taking a fraction of the time needed to apply normal extensions, GL Apps last for around four weeks, meaning that you can have a new hairstyle every month! GL Apps makes wearing extensions fun and easy, quickly enhancing the volume, length and colour of your own hair. Like all Great Lengths extensions they need to be applied by a certified stylist and can be purchased from any Great Lengths salon. For your nearest salon check our Salon Locator.

Smile! We’re on TV!

Appearing on the Alan Titchmarsh show to demonstrate GL Apps was most definitely a Great Lengths highlight. The audience was wowed when A-list celebrity hairdresser and Great Lengths salon owner, Richard Ward transformed the locks of a more mature woman using GL Apps – making her limp, fine hair full of body and movement.

Great Lengths Men-Hancements® have also had a cracking year and even appeared on This Morning to educate the nation on the benefits for men using hair extensions. The Only Way is Essex boys, Tom Pearce, Elliot Wright and James ‘Diags’ Bennewith had their locks transformed; with Tom having his famous quiff enhanced, Elliot having a swept back fringe created and Diags having Neon Green extensions blended into his own hair. The boys looked amazing and Tom Pearce loved his new style so much that he kept it to walk down the red carpet at the NTA Awards 2014.

Great Lengths Awards

We also managed to let our hair down (no pun intended) in style this year at the Great Lengths Awards, held in our hometown of Leeds at the Queen’s Hotel. We challenged stylists to present us with their finest artistic creations that used our own Great Lengths products.

We’ve got lots planned for 2015 and can’t wait to share another year with you.
