Coachella 2016 – Celebrity Hairstyles

Another year, another Coachella festival finished. The good news is that Coachella kicks off the rest of the festival season, so there is still plenty of time to rock the epic hair looks showcased over the last two weekends. Here is our guide to three of our favourite Coachella celebrity hairstyles…

Poppy Delevingne

Model and socialite Poppy Delevingne is always making a style statement, and she didn’t let us down for Coachella – debuting gorgeous peachy-pink hair!

For us, nothing says summer like a new hair colour, and you can’t get fresher or fruitier than peach! Poppy dresses her new tresses in beachy waves and loose waves – letting the colour do all the talking!

If you are interesting in adding a new hue to your tresses, but don’t want to commit to a big transformation, why not ask your Great Lengths stylist about our fashion shades range and GL Apps application options – giving you around four weeks of gorgeous glossy colour, and no damage!

Kendall Jenner

If you can rely on anyone to launch a hair trend it’s the Jenners – Kylie and Kendall are always trying out new styles, and what they try tends to make it big.

Whist Kylie was making a statement with a peach wig and rainbow boxer braids, Kendall rocked this season’s hottest hair up look – double buns! She even added some glitter to her parting, to take it to the next level. Cue serious hair envy.

Easy to achieve, the trick to this style is getting it to look effortless and tousled. Scrunch damp hair to introduce a ‘bend’ then spritz with dry shampoo for volume and root lift before securing in place.

Hailey Baldwin

Model and potential Bieber GF (we can’t keep up with his latest beau), Hayley Baldwin knows what suits her and how to make the best of her stunning girl-next-door looks. For Coachella, Hayley added soft lavender tones to the tips of her tresses. Now chalking may have had its day, but lavender is THE colour look of the season, so she’s still totally on-trend.

One issue that can occur with chalking is that it can rub off onto your clothes. Our top tip –prep the tips of your hair with dry shampoo (yes the tips) before chalking, then spritz with hairspray after your apply the colour. Comb through to remove any excess then blot with a towel. Ta Da!
