As AW16 Fashion Week is officially over, we take a look back at our favourite looks from London, New York, Milan and Paris…
The international fashion weeks kicked off in New York and as expected, the bar was set high! Designers such as Tommy Hilfiger and Rachel Zoe opted for simple and effortless hairstyles to accompany their designs, but it was Vera Wang’s choppy bob that caught our eye. Each model rocked a dark ‘do, which completed Wang’s threads beautifully. Feel like a super model and take a look at our rich, brunette base shade range here for some hairspiration.
Our favourite British designers really pulled out the stops at this year’s AW16 shows, from Sophia Webster’s incredible headpieces, to Burberry’s grungy yet gorgeous locks, it was hard to pick out a favourite ‘do.
However, we loved the textured, wet look locks, styled by Guido Palau for Christopher Kane. We were so inspired that we created a ‘Textured Hair’ board on Pinterest to give you some daily hairspiration.
And of course we have to mention Ashish’s incredibly colourful Afros! If you dare to be different and stand out from the crowd, then take a look at our gorgeous fashion shades hair extensions – a quick and easy way to add a pop of colour.
Next stop was Milan, and WOW, they sure did cause a stir! MaxMara went for versatility, with each model sporting a different hairstyle; from long and wavy, mid-length and blunt to completely shaven, there were hairstyles to inspire anyone and everyone!
Although Roberto Cavalli’s models’ hair looked like they’ve just rolled out of bed, there was something about this high fashion hair that we kind of loved…. If you fancy trying something a bit different and were also inspired by these locks, then try our Super Shine Spray – perfect for refining the finished style.
Finally, the fashion glitterati headed to Paris, where Balmain put social media into frenzy and sent his models out on to the catwalk with a brand new hair colour, Kendall Jenner swapped her beautiful brunette locks for Gigi Hadid’s honey blonde. Constantly re-colouring your tresses can be daunting and damaging (to say the least) so Great Lengths is here to help. , Our hair extensions offer the opportunity to add new tones your hair without dying it. So if you fancy going bronde, ronze or even trying dip dye you’re in luck! Read all about it on our blog.
