Golden Globes Hairspiration

The red carpet was rolled out once again for the annual, star-studded Golden Globes. Each year we have high expectations for both the couture and the coiffeurs, and as always we weren’t disappointed.

Here is our lowdown on the best hairstyles from the 2016 Golden Globes awards…

Kate Winslet

It was a spectacular evening for Kate for more than one reason – not only did she take home one of the glittering awards, but she also wowed on the red carpet with her tousled nape knot and tailored dress combination.

The great thing about this hair look is that it is so easy to achieve on hair that is shoulder length or longer. Here is our how-to guide…

Jennifer Lawrence

Hollywood princess Jennifer Lawrence can do no wrong in our eyes, and just like Kate, she opted for a nape knot hairstyle, to compliment her bold but structured couture gown. Jennifer’s take on this look had a deeper side parting and slicked-back styling, which made the finished result just a little more edgy. We love it!

Olivia Palermo

Forever fashion-forward, it came as no surprise that Olivia Palermo would turn heads on the red carpet. We love her statement necklace and elegant hairstyle. The soft waves and neat braid combination are sublime – we’ll definitely be giving this one a go!

Unsurprisingly there were a few other reliable hair heroes that deserve praise…

Rachel McAdams wore here tresses in a voluminous quiff and pleat style and Cate Blanchett rocked a bold looped faux-bob style.

Amy Adams worked gorgeous, glamour waves, whilst Rooney Mara sported a structured ponytail and braid style, adorned with a sparkly clip.
