A few of our previous Great Lengths awards winners shared their stories.

Charlotte Boyes, Posh Hair & Beauty (Great Lengths Fastrack Transformation 2014/15)

“The Great Lengths awards are an amazing experience.

Everybody should enter! I have two Great Lengths awards and have been featured in magazines, online blogs and gained recognition for my hard work within our industry.

This competition is not about ‘spending power’ – it is judged fairly and everybody has the same chance of becoming a finalist or a winner.

I am already creating looks for this year’s awards – I cannot wait!”

Emma Choremi (Great Lengths newcomer 2014/15)

“Since winning Great Lengths ‘Best Newcomer ‘award in 2014, and becoming a finalist in the ‘Men-hancements’ and ‘Gold Salon’ categories, things have really changed for both myself and my business.

Since winning, I made sure we used this to promote us as a prestigious Great Lengths salon, both online and within salon.

Within a year of winning I moved my salon of 26 years to a larger ground floor premises where I’m now aiming for platinum status.

Using only Great Lengths products within my business puts us on the map as THE place to come for the best in extensions and enhancements.

Winning also gave me much more confidence to promote and believe in the work I do and love.”

Marcio Soares (Great Lengths Men-Hancements Transformation 2014/15)

“Being an awarded extensionist really makes a difference to how people see you as a professional. After the awards I had a lot of enquires from guys to change their look.”
