Congratulations to our December Hair of Fame Hero, Lauren McManus of D’reem Hair! We caught up with Lauren to find out more about her stunning work.
Tell us about yourself and your career
I started as a professional hairdressing five years ago, but quickly realised that I was more passionate about styling and extensions as opposed to cut and colour. This led me to go on my first hair extension course around four years ago. I’ve never looked back and now work from my home salon, and a mobile salon around the Glasgow area.
When did you start applying hair extensions?
I first started applying hair extensions four years ago, and I completed my Great Lengths foundation certification training in March 2015.
What do you love about Great Lengths?
Since completing my first extensions course four years ago I have used many different types of hair, but none compare to the quality of Great Lengths hair. Great Lengths works so well both with application and styling and is the most durable hair I have ever worked with. My clients love it!
What are your trend predictions for 2016?
I have noticed that many of my clients have stopped getting hair extensions purely for length and instead opt to have them the same length as their normal hair for added volume. I think that this will continue to be popular in 2016.
