With so much excitement in the air, we took this opportunity to catch up with the crème of the crop – a selection of award winners from 2016/2017 UK GL Awards – to find out what winning their award meant to them and how it’s since transformed their business.

James Henderson, Owner of M Hair, Nottingham and winner of The Great Lengths Trophy, Extension Excellence Award said:

“Winning the Awards has given us the edge over our competitors and given our clients and prospective clients the confidence that they are in the best hands. It has cemented our 30 years in the extensions business and helped to raise national awareness of our brand.”

When asked how she felt about winning the Best Gold Salon Award, Emma Choremi from McQueens Hairdressing in Bristol told us:

“I felt so relieved and happy, for myself and for my team. It was an honour to be recognised. Winning the award gave me a whole new outlook on my work, my salon has been noticed and recognised as one of the best for extension work.”

Many award winners have gone on to work with the Great Lengths Head Office team on numerous collaborative opportunities including campaign shoots and PR and industry exhibitions, further raising their profile in the hair industry and amongst potential clients.

The finalist of each category will be revealed shortly after the entry period closes. We can’t wait to share the details of the finalists with you. Here’s wishing our stylists the very best of luck when entering this year’s awards!
