This year we’re returning to Salon International, one of the biggest hair industry shows in the UK Calendar for hair professionals. Showcasing this year’s newest brand innovations and also celebrating over 25 years in the hair industry, we’ll be joined by some of the leading names in the industry at the show, which takes place 13th -15th October at ExCel London.
Over the three days, we will be showcasing our latest brand innovations, GL Tapes, launched earlier this year as well as our newest technological innovation: UltraSonic Touch which is one of the machines used to apply Great Lengths pre-bonded extensions. Our expert Education Team will be taking to the stage showcasing GL Tapes application as well as cutting and blending techniques. Some of our talented Certified stylists will also be taking to stage as Guest Artists, demonstrating different creative techniques in terms of colouring and styling to inspire and educate the audience.
On Saturday we’ll be welcoming Platinum Salon Owner and UK GL Awards 2018 finalist Jennifer Swain to the stage to showcase her signature ‘Swain Wave’ and also educate the audience on how to create the best images for social media and help boost their business profile.
The Matthew Curtis Team will also be recreating their Fashion Week runway hair styles on both Saturday and Sunday and will be joined by Vicky Demetriou, winner of the Longer Length category at the UK GL Awards 2018 and extensionist at Larry King, who will be showcasing the creative aspects of Great Lengths combined with colour. Heidi Nel, Owner of Noble Hair will also be on stage with her ‘Show V Soul’ session – demonstrating how extensions can be used to create show stopping looks and also natural enhancements for mature clients on the Sunday.
On Monday we’ll be providing GL Tapes applications in selected pastel colours in support of our partner charity, The Little Princess Trust, to whom we donate used Great Lengths Hair extensions to be used as part of wigs for children and young adults experiencing hair loss as a result of alopecia or cancer. Proceeds will go directly to the charity to help with costs associated with wig manufacturing.
We’ll be running some special offers exclusively at Salon and also launching a new product – so stay tuned for more. If you’re attending Salon International 2018 or know anyone who is, please do stop by and say hello to the Great Lengths Team on stand S120.
