Strictly Come Dancing Hairspiration

With the Strictly glitter ball race well under way now, we’re loving this year’s contestants and their weekly hair style transformations!

Here, we round up our favourite styles from the competition so far!

Retro ponies

Still going strong in 2016, the ‘50s style ponytail is always a winner in the dance floor style stakes! For their jive numbers, stunning Louise Redknapp made her Strictly debut with a retro side ponytail in Week 1. Laura Whitmore rocked her 50’s style ponytail in Week 4. Try our Bardot ponytail tutorial to steal this style!

Half Up

A glamorous and elegant classic, just like the waltz, this style never gets old. Daisy Lowe wore this style in week 4 with straight hair and a thick wispy fringe. Louise Redknapp also recreated this style in Week 2, keeping it straight and long with the help of extensions. Need more length to re-create this look? Check out our Great Lengths Extensions here

Braided Up-Dos

Week 1 was all about the up-dos! Here at Great Lengths, we love a braided up-do, so we went crazy when we saw Laura Whitmore’s hair in Week 1- the different blonde tones in her hair made the style look even more textured. Keeping her fringe natural, model Daisy Lowe swept the rest of her hair back and wore small flowers in her hair. So pretty!
