The 2014 series of X Factor is now well and truly underway, and the female judges have been bringing their A game when it comes to show stopping hairstyles!
Both Cheryl and Mel B have rocked a number of different looks so far, but we’re starting to see a pattern emerge, with each judge seeming to have their own signature style…
Mel B – the slicked back finish
Mel B seems to be a fan of freeing her face when it comes to hair for X Factor, favouring a neat, slicked back look. We’ve seen her rocking various up do’s, including the statement top knot, as well as the half up half down style that’s often popular on the fashion week catwalks.
You too can recreate Mel’s signature look using the Great Lengths Aftercare range. The Super Shine Spray is perfect for taming and smoothing flyaways, with the Soft Finish Spray offering the security that your style will stay in tact all day long.
Cheryl – parted and pokered
With her newly-ombred, shorter locks to match her new surname, Cheryl Fernandez Versini has had a complete hair transformation for this series of the X Factor. Gone are the big, volumised layers she’s known for, and instead we’re saying hello to uber glossy, poker-straight styles.
If you fancy giving ombre a go, but don’t want to commit to the dye, try Great Lengths Flowstrands for an easy style fix. The two tone in colour of the extensions will keep your ‘do diverse enough to pull off Cheryl’s new love for strong partings and super straight locks.
