Introducing the 2010 Tomorrow’s Look compilation - a visual wonder of avant garde styles created using Great Lengths 100% human hair extensions.
This influential collection styled by Mario Gutman and photographed by Mario Schmolka encapsulates diverse shades with influential cutting edge styles, and reflects the glamour and versatility of the world leaders in hair extensions.
“The new collection represents a mixture of on-trend statement looks combined with the commercial softness that clients will request. It’s an inspiring collaboration of bold cuts with a great use of vibrant colours that are eye catching and stand out.” Paul Falltrick – Great Lengths UK Brand Ambassador.
Look 1
Rock band chic, this achievable style incorporates unstructured shaggy curls that allow for easy movement, with a sweeping thick side fringe. Using ash and platinum tones of blonde, the whole look is effortlessly sexy and seductive. 75 strands were applied to add volume, bounce and movement with a shoulder length of 30cm.
“This Spring/Summer 2010 big hair is taken to the next level. The eighties influence is still a huge part of fashion but this time around with more definition. Volume and body can be enhanced using cylinder shaped bonds. The cut is razored throughout giving the style masses of movement” – Paul Falltrick
Look 4
This sexy crop with a sweeping full fringe, shaped into the neck is enhanced with petrol coloured tones of jewel blue and black. With only 25 strands of hair applied this is a real statement look keeping it short and sassy with only 20 cm of length and keeping the volume at the crown.
“A contrast of smooth and textured style really brings out the petrol coloured tones in the hair, making this look fresh, sleek and sexy. Apply length in the fringe and flat iron to give a smooth appearance. Add texture paste to short layers to create this two dimensional style” – Paul Falltrick
Look 5
Strong lines are a must this season accentuating the cut with an edgy feel. Created using 64 strands of Great Lengths hair incorporating eye catching vibrant flashes of burgundy, warm red tones, pastel peach, crazy purple & jewel purple, all 20cm length.
“A bright mixture of colours instantly updates a classic cut keeping it on-trend and straight off the catwalk. Shatter the baseline using a razor, this makes the edges of the bob almost see-through. Add contrasting colours to get that head turning look” – Paul Falltrick
Bonus
A work of art created by Great Lengths, this abstract style shows precision lines with a vast contrast of colour. Using 20 cm lengths of deep autumnal shades of red and auburn in the under section and bright and vibrant tones of blonde blended with pastel green. 168 strands of hair were applied to add volume to define the shape of this space age transformation – portraying the versatility of Great Lengths extensions.
“Strong lines are a must this season accentuating the cut with an edgy feel. There is a great precision in this cut and I love the way the colours emphasize strength. This is not one to re-create in the salon, just designed to inspire. It is leaning towards more catwalk/show work” – Paul Falltrick
