Kate Middleton – A Hair History

We LOVE Kate Middleton, aka the Duchess of Cambridge. It is safe to say that as well as having fantastic taste in clothes, she also know how to make the most of her bountiful bouffant. We took at look at her recent hair history.

Elegant Buns

Over the last few years, Kate has shown that she’s not afraid to experiment with different updo’s. We’ve been a fan of her slick back ponytails and half up/half down styles, however her elegant low buns have to be our favourite. If you are feeling a little apprehensive about dressing your hair up whilst wearing hair extensions, then take a look at our Vintage Roll hair-up tutorial video – you’ll soon rush to try this sophisticated style.

Hat Hair

This Duchess knows just the secret to looking super chic for any formal occasion – a fantastic selection of fabulous hats and fascinators. With brunette hair, Kate is able to pull off a vast array of tones from pastel yellow to turquoise. When wearing a headpiece, hair should be styled with a little volume or texture – we recommend a soft curl and a spritz of our Soft Finish Spray to hold in place.

Beautiful & Bouncy

Kate’s signature hairstyle has to be her beautiful, brunette, bouncy curls and this look is easy to achieve. To give your hair instant length and volume, ask your stylist about Great Lengths Classic Base Shades hair extensions that are matched with your natural hair tones.
